Video games for kindness!

I struggle to get engagement with my online giveaways and I often wonder how to improve this process. I have always admired the puzzle aspect of earning a reward of sorts so I figured why not give that a try. I originally purchased these two 50 dollar Steem gift cards for a Geocoin hunt that never came to fruition the way I desired. Currently waiting on a bit of development there and will revisit this idea at a later date. I figured why not put these to use while we wait and just Twitter drop them. A simple crypto word to unlock a giftcard on our gift page should do the trick I thought to myself. The first attempt failed to gain any traction which you can see here, a bit frustrating to say the least. After a few weeks I dropped a few feelers out there in some Discord chats and managed to hook up a fellow human with a cool fifty bucks towards a video game. Two weeks with no engagement though is kinda not what I had imagined going into it but I was happy with the outcome. Big thank you to the Discord chats that allowed the links and chance to spread our idea.

Christmas day I figured I would give it another go, maybe this will go better this time I thought to myself. Unfortunately still not that much engagement. I don’t want to get all scummy and start in with RT and Like propaganda to increase engagement so this makes things a bit more difficult I guess. This act of kindness was simple like the last one and also behind another “crypto word” password page. After a week or so I figured I would hit up a few more Discords and see what interest I could generate. Managed to drum up a bit of interest and the card was claimed. Unfortunate for us this time it was claimed but not acknowledged. If would be nice to see who benefited from the opportunity but life will go on. This was good I think because it inspired me to change up the process as you can see in the next act of kindness here. This time we will let you browse the cards and participate in the outcome. A way to engage with you the human and work together to create a killer #RandomActOfKindness. Join us in our Wishanthropy campaign and fund a gift card today.
